It is finally December and the semester has flown by. I constantly have a mix of feelings of wanting to be home with loved ones and not wanting to leave my newly found second home here in Granada. Like all things, however, things change and I do feel ready to head home and finish my college chapter in life, but before I get ahead of myself, I still have work to do here. Finals week fast approaches and all of our classes have begun the final prep for it. One very bright side to the week, they turned on all the Christmas lights throughout the city and it truly looks like a winter wonderland, giving me the last bit of energy to push through this year on a high note.
