My head has been spinning with all the experiences I’ve already had these first few days in Chile. The program is a homestay and before I arrived I was a little nervous about living in a stranger’s home. But when we first met my host mother, I already knew all my fears were unfounded. When we arrived at 2:00 a.m., my roommate and I were still greeted with a hug and told to call her mom! Afterwards, for the very first day, we were taken on a whirlwind tour of Santiago which was super fun and helped us understand the major points of the city and the public transportation system.
