Starting with the week of September 17-23, classes are in full swing now as we approach the final week of the intensive program and the final exams. On Wednesday, we visited the grand cathedral of Granada, which was astounding to look at and very interesting to listen to Amalia’s perspective. Then later that week, most of us in the GRIIS program took a trip to Malaga to get in one last beach weekend. It was an amazing time and the place and location where I and a few friends stayed was gorgeous to say the least. We got to visit the beach only five minutes from the apartment and had a great day in the sun. Returning on Sunday, I felt fully refreshed and ready to tackle the finals week andexcursions to Portugal.
