Five weeks. That’s all it took. Five weeks lasted long enough for me to instinctively look left for oncoming cars, to know to ask for the “loo” instead of the bathroom and to be comfortable enough to call London home. Five weeks lasted long enough for all of us to bond in ways I don’t think any of us expected, and left us with so much love for this city, and for one another. At the same time, five weeks flew by. Suddenly, we’re actually seniors and this time next summer, it won’t be our turn anymore.
Thank you, London, for being magical and thank you, Bill, for showing us how to find that magic.
