London is filled with so many cool adventures and fun activities to do. I got the chance to see Hamlet at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, which was one of the best experiences of my life. Even though we had to stand for the whole three hours, it was definitely worth it because the production was breathtaking. When I was watching the performance, I couldn’t help, but think about all of the history that took place before now. It made me realize how lucky I was to be standing where the original Shakespeare plays were shown. I appreciated the gender role reversals of Hamlet and Ophelia and how they incorporated different cultures into the performance. Actors communicated through spoken word and also through sign language; it was something I had never seen before in theater and I hope more plays follow this practice.
