My third week in Paris was by far the most challenging yet. I accepted a fashion internship for the week and was presented with some really difficult, yet rewarding tasks. I worked long hour days and became well acquainted with the Paris public transportation system. This definitely made me feel more independent, as I was sometimes traveling alone to and from work. While at my internship, I was surrounded by people from all different countries. It amazed me to hear so many different accents in one room and so many different languages. Sometimes, one person was able to speak up to seven different languages which really impressed me. I concluded that going forward at UD, I would really like to pick up a second language, as it would be so beneficial in the fashion industry.
