Melbourne has continued to be just as amazing as it was the first week. There is never a dull moment here, our study abroad group has gotten a lot more closer as well which has been nice. It has been hard getting used to looking the other way for cars while on the road, but I’m slowly getting used to it. We have gone to the beaches a few times now and it is way better than any beach I have been to back home. I could see myself spending every day at the beaches. The water is a lot saltier than the Atlantic Ocean which has been fun because I am able to float without even trying.
After my second trip to the night market, me and some other friends went to the Eureka Tower. The views were amazing, I am pretty sure I saw our dorms where we are staying from the top of the tower. It was 88 floors to the top and there was almost a complete 360 degree view of the city. We stayed up at the tower until after sunset, it was so interesting to see the city transition from day to night.
Next week, we are going to Tasmania which I am super excited for, I’m ready to get out of the city and see the open countryside again. Before we leave for that, there are two midterms so I’ll be studying a lot for that, hopefully Tasmania will make up for all of the studying!
