The last four days we spent in Florence, an incredible city. While Rome had more of a feel of New York, Florence felt like a true European city. It was less crowded than Rome and easier to walk around. It was smaller than Rome and offered fewer options for food and small shops, but the buildings and roads gave more of an old times feel than the city buildings of Rome. Only four days was not enough. Although, we did feel the local people may not appreciate our large group as much. Although, we might attempt not to, we tend to be a loud group and it was a bit more obvious in Florence which was a quieter city compared to the bustle of Rome. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to be spending a month with. We all have varying personalities and interests, but we mesh well and are getting along extremely well. Everyday there are lots of laughs and good times.
