Athens, Greece: The Acropolis

Submitted by Julia Ewing on the 2018 spring semester program in Athens, Greece sponsored by the College of Education & Human Development…

We went to the Acropolis this weekend!  It’s elevation is very high, it’s massive, it’s old, and it’s beautiful!  When I was there, I was reminded of perspective. From up there, I could see so much.  I could see the Panathenaic Stadium, Mars Hill, the Cemetery and Zeus’s Temple. All of those places which had previously made me feel small, now were small objects in the view from the Acropolis.  Life is all about perspective, and how you look at it. This program is teaching me to find the positive things in life. Enjoy my pictures from the Acropolis!
