So I have been on Little Cayman for about three days now with my study abroad group of 18. So far, the weather has been windy and overcast, yet this is still the most beautiful place that I have ever been. As I write this, I am looking at the ocean, a mere 20 feet from me. Getting to this small island where the iguanas outnumber the people was quite an experience. Two flights to Grand Cayman and an island hopper to Little Cayman. The airport at Grand Cayman was a perfect example of a major cultural difference that I have noted since I got here. Our flight was scheduled to leave at 7:05 am, and come 7:30 am we had not even boarded yet. Here on the island, punctuality is not an issue very often worried about. Nobody has to do anything as fast as possible, it just has to get done. This is a concept that I am entirely unfamiliar with, yet I feel like by then end of the month, I will definitely be used to.
