The people of Ireland are incredibly nice and welcoming. I was lost for the first hour I arrived in Ireland. However, whenever I asked someone for directions, not only would they tell me the way, but they would also walk me to the location. Now, even after a few days, I still find myself surprised at how nice the people are. Other students on the program and I often discuss how different Dublin is from some American cities that we know. There is not as much aggression and the general atmosphere is more open and welcoming than we are used to. While it has only been a week, I have had an amazing experience so far and I cannot wait for the rest of my program.
