There is something to say about the culture and history of Italy. While I am from New York, there are major attractions in the city, however, I never really stop to think about how amazing it is to be in a city with so much history. In Rome, my friends and I decided to take a walk during our free time to the Trevi Fountain. The fountain is famously known for people throwing in coins while facing away from the fountain to make a wish, which will come true. Something about the feeling of being a part of such a special and magical moment was absolutely breathtaking. The structures of the statues towering over the fountain as well as the clear water create an atmosphere that makes even locals stop and stare. While talking to the man who gave us gelato after visiting the Trevi Fountain, he told us that he never gets sick of this view. It was a really incredible site and an even more beautiful moment.
