On Saturday, January 21st, I spent the day traveling to and wandering around Oxford. It is such a beautiful city and campus! I sincerely wish I stayed overnight. Oxford University is made up of over 30 colleges, each with its own dining hall, library and common room. Several parts of Oxford’s campus were used as sets for the Harry Potter series. Pictured below is Christ’s Church college, which contains the Cathedral that served as a backdrop in many Harry Potter scenes.
The city of Oxford is absolutely gorgeous. It contains a castle which is adjacent to this giant hill that overlooks the city. Oxford is also home to several museums and galleries (all of which I, unfortunately, did not have time to see). All in all, it was a fantastic day trip and I would highly recommend going there.
