Amsterdam: Talk about a culture shock. The language itself is insane and looks like someone accidentally pressed numerous letters on their keyboard. On top of that, the people were so friendly, spoke amazing English and could spot an American from a mile away. They say that Americans are always exaggerated in their happiness and are incredibly loud. I can’t say I disagree, I’m quite loud myself. We met a lot of great new friends as well as met up with our friends from our program to tour the canals, see the Van Gogh Museum and take a moment to reflect at the Anne Frank House. It was such an amazing adventure that I’ll never be able to fully explain it with words or pictures.
