My fourth week studying abroad in Panama has been great. We went to the Panama Canal during the week and I was able to get a great view of the ships coming through it from all over the world. We also took a walk through the museum and I was able to learn a lot about the canal and its history.
Also, over the weekend, 10 classmates and I took a three-day trip up the Boquete. We all stayed together in a hostel and we all had a wonderful time. We spent the days hiking and swimming and we spent the nights going out to restaurants and hanging out. My abroad experience is coming to an end, but I couldn’t have picked a better way to spend my last week here. I had a terrific time studying here and I am going to miss it when I get back home to the United States.
