10 Days, 3 Cities, and Nothing but Good Times.

FOOD. This one simple word pretty much summarizes the past ten days of my spring break.  I successfully ate my way through the cities of Venice, Florence, and Barcelona.  Pizza all day everyday seemed to be the routine while in Italy, with an occasional pasta dish here and there.  We frolicked the streets in masquerade masks during the Carnival in Venice, went on the most memorable gondola ride and ate the best pizza I’ll probably ever have in my life.  While in Florence, we saw the famous Duomo, walked across the Ponte Vecchio, and trekked up the Boboli Gardens for a breathtaking view of the city.  We also hit  the Italian leather market where I snagged some nice finds.  The sun was out everyday in Barcelona so we immediately hit the beach.  We explored the Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, walked the street of Las Ramblas and went to a well known food market, La Boqueria.  Barcelona had the most delicious brunches, however, it took a little getting used to eating dinner so late at night.  It was the most memorable ten days of my life.
