Two weeks have almost gone by since I stepped foot in Paris. Even though time has been flying, I have done a lot of fun and interesting things! First, I made from scratch a headband type hat and a floppy hat…six hours of hard work later! Since I was the only one in my group who knew how to sew on the machine, I was able to assist them by teaching them how to use it. The results of the head pieces were very fashionable and decorative!
Since it is fashion week in Paris, I had an opportunity to work backstage as a dresser for Rick Owens, who is a high end designer. It was such an honor to be a part of the fashion show. Dressing a model and helping others was amazing to say the least. I had such a great experience and I am looking forward to my internship next week for the Rick Owens showroom!
I never want this program to end, but I am making the best out of every moment I have here in Paris! Au Revoir!
