It’s crazy to think that I’ve been in London a month now, but I am so happy that I’m finally getting the hang of living here. I’m getting better with navigating the tube and the city, and I am comfortable exploring it on my own. This week, I ventured to the Saatchi Gallery, an art gallery founded by Charles Saatchi. The current exhibition is called Paper, and it is a showcase of various works containing paper. There were so many cool and exciting pieces, such as a couch made out of newspaper, and paper trees made out of McDonald’s take out bags. I really enjoyed the gallery because it was very brightly lit and simple, allowing viewers to focus on the statement that was the individual pieces. I would recommend the Saatchi Gallery for anyone with an interest in art.
