Last week, I was lucky to experience a full Indian curry dinner in London’s Brick Lane area. Brick Lane is known for its Indian cuisine and the CAPA staff highly suggested we experience it. I had never had Indian food before so I was a little unsure if I would like it or not. However, I am happy to say that I absolutely loved it! Our meal started with an appetizer consisting of a vegetable samosa, a small salad, and a type of fried shredded potato. A samosa is a triangular shaped pastry filled with anything from vegetables to meat.
Then for the main course, I got chicken curry with naan and lentils. It was absolutely delicious! I especially enjoyed the naan which is a type of Indian bread.
One of the things I really enjoy about London is that you are able to try all different types of food from around the world. It definitely is true to say that London is one of the most diverse cities in the world.
