Last weekend, we took a trip to see the great city of Bath in southwest England. Apparently, Bath is one of the few cities in Europe where the whole city is a UNESCO world heritage site. Bath was very lively, and the city is a mix of old and new world influences. The Jane Austen festival was occurring while we were there, so there were many people roaming the streets dressed in 18th century attire. I had the privilege of seeing the Great Roman Bath, and it was a marvelous site. The most exciting thing to me was the fact that I was able to sit at the edge of the Bath, which really let me soak in the history of the site. It was also nice to be able to explore and see the underground falls and other areas of the Bath. Overall, Bath was a neat place to check out, and I could see myself going again one day.
