Returning from Chile

I cannot believe I am home and back at Delaware already! The entire month went by so quickly and was so full of so many fun activities! The past week was filled with buying last minute souvenirs and gifts for my friends and family, and checking last minute things off of my Santiago bucket list! We wandered around the city, hiking some of the mountains and exploring the markets – nothing too crazy, but a good way to get a last glimpse of the city! Our farewell dinner was very fun! It was a dinner and show, showcasing the national dances of Chile. Earlier in the week we had taken a dance class and learned some of the moves of the dances in the show, so it was very cool to see how it looks professionally! The flight home was long, but fine. When we got back to the United States, it was almost like reverse-culture shock seeing signs in English everywhere!

My group and I learning the Cueca from the Northern region of Chile.
