As the end of the trip trip approached, I realized just how much I was going to miss Barbados: the weather, the food, the culture, and the students I had become close with. I brought in school supplies for my classroom and the students were so excited. They knew that Tuesday was my last day, so some of the students brought me in Barbados themed gifts, others made me art, and all of them signed a paper for me and drew a picture. It was so sad to know that I would not see them again the following day. That was probably one of the hardest things about leaving, saying goodbye to my students. Now that I am back, I email with the teacher to find out how they are doing, but I miss them and I miss Barbados.
