This past week, our group went on a 3 day 3 night safari in the Madikwe Game Reserve. Each night, we rotated locations and roommates, to mix things up a bit! We all stayed one night at the Madikwe River Lodge, and 2 nights at Mosetlha Bush Camp – the bush camp had no electricity or running water, so it was definitely an experience! We went on 2 safari rides each day, one in the morning and one at night, and learned a lot about the ecotourism industry! Over the three days, we saw The Big 5 (lion, le0pard, elephant, rhino, water buffalo), giraffes, zebras, impala, wildebeast, hippos, and many more animals! It was an incredible few days, and we have so many great pictures to show for it! Now, we have arrived in Cape Town, where we have learned about the history of the area, and visited some of the most beautiful beaches in the world! Rumor has it that Leonardo DiCaprio is in town filming his next movie, so we are always on the lookout for that too!
