Today is my 5th day in Paris, and I feel like I have been here for at least two weeks. I am living in the 7th “arrondissement,” which is in walking distance to the school where we are studying. We are studying at “Reid Hall” which is a hidden building right in the middle of the city.
My bedroom has huge, traditional French windows that look out onto a courtyard…it’s breathtaking. This past Saturday, I went on a bus tour with the the other UD students to see all of the major monuments in Paris. We saw the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, la Sorbonne, and much more. On Sunday, we went on a guided walking tour of the historic “Monmartre.” Today was the first day of classes! I am so excited that it’s only the 5th day because there is so much more to look forward to!
