On Tuesday, August 21 Lillian Wang (Delaware Geological Survey) and Jay Hodny (City of Newark) will be presenting on their experiences at the Esri User Conference 2018 in San Diego. Participants can attend in-person at Pearson Hall Studio C (third floor) or via Zoom. UD GIS group members will receive a Zoom link for video conferencing in a calendar invite. Presentation description:

Presenters will share an overview of what they learned during the technical sessions at the Esri User Conference in San Diego earlier this year. The week-long conference draws 18,000 GIS practitioners from all over the world. It offers 1000+ sessions and 400+ training hours. Presenters attended sessions of their interest and will deliver the information on server and geodatabase administration, 3D GIS, field data collection application development, feature and label editing, local government ArcGIS solutions, ArcGIS Pro, 3D features and subsurface analysis in ArcScene and ArcGIS Pro, ESRI MOOCs, Arcade scripting language as well as establishing a multi-disciplinary and peer-reviewed online academic journal with articles in the form of Story Maps.
