Today after breakfast we were split into two groups. One group went canoeing, and saw frogs and a treehouse. The other group went piranha fishing, and were very successful! It was interesting to see how locals actually fish with simple rods, and that local communities rely on this technique for food source and their lively food. This also gave us a feeling of connectivity to the locals we have met. After lunch, we learned about agriculture and textures, and then went for a short hike. During the hike, we did rubbings and quick sketches of scenes in nature. Following this was a sunset boat ride, where we passed communities and saw pink dolphins. To conclude the day, we ate dinner, with a special strawberry cake for dessert.
