Saturday started off the day with a bike ride from Copacabana to Flamingo park where we had a sketching exercise of a tree. Several people got some fresh coconut water during our ride there. Along the way we saw the multifaceted usage of the park for the people of Rio such as dancers, musicians, bike and walking paths, workout areas, and the beach. Once we made it through the park we stopped off at the Modern Art Museum of Rio which had various types of sculptures, paintings, and film exhibits. After biking we had a free afternoon to which some of us used to run some errands and get lunch. Relaxed on the beach up until dinner, we chose to go out to Cantina da Praça to have some delicious Italian food like Polpetone, gnocchi, and other dishes.

Sunday was a free day for us. In the morning most of us went to Hippie Fair in General Osario square. The hippie fair is a large art sale held on Sundays. Local artists try to sell there works of art and other hand crafted souvenirs are also sold there. It is a way for the local people to show their talent to other locals and tourists a like. It is also a good way for them to make money off of their art. After we got back from the Hippie Fair most of us went to Copacabana beach. t is one of the most famous beaches in Brazil. Some of the students rented paddle boards to enjoy the water and views of the beach. Once back at the hotel we all went up to swim in the pool until dinner time. A group of us ended off the night to go try the mexican food at Azteka.
