Today we traveled by bus to the Burle Marx sitio where we got to see his work, along with where he lived and where he would have parties with his friends. We got to see the different types of plants that he brought from various countries which was very interesting. The reason he fell in love with bringing plants back to Brazil was because he wanted to show the country’s diversity. We enjoyed seeing his style of art, it was inspirational therefore, it made walking through all the mosquitoes very worth it. We went to lunch which overlooked the beach and various landscapes. We both felt as it was a great time to bond with everyone on our trip and enjoy a meal together. Lastly, we went to the beach where we spent about three hours once again bonding. We went into the water and it was rougher than the beach we went to on the first day in Rio, but it was also very peaceful, it was nice to relax and get our tan on!!
