Graduate Student Seminars

The Graduate Student Seminar Series was established in the Fall of 2022 exclusively for the graduate students of the Department of Economics at the University of Delaware. This series serves as a platform for graduate students to showcase their ongoing research in a relaxed and supportive environment.

The primary aim of the seminar series is to foster an atmosphere of intellectual growth and camaraderie among the department’s graduate student community. It provides a unique space for participants to share their research findings, methodologies, and ideas, encouraging lively discussions and interdisciplinary exchange. Whether it’s a work-in-progress, a research proposal, or a completed study, every contribution is welcomed and valued.

By participating in this seminar series, graduate students gain valuable experience in communicating their research effectively, honing their presentation skills, and receiving constructive feedback from their peers. The informal setting allows for a more relaxed and supportive atmosphere, nurturing a sense of community and collaboration within the department.

We encourage all graduate students to actively participate and contribute to this vibrant forum, helping to shape the future of our department and contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field of economics.
