Hey there!

My name is Dheer Noal and I am a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Wyoming since August 2022.

I am from Vadodara (Baroda), India and I received my Msc. Integrated at NISER, Bhubaneswar, where my Master’s Thesis was centered around Design Theory.

I completed my PhD in Mathematics at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, University of Delaware in May 2022. For my PhD I was advised by Dr. Sebastian Cioaba and Dr. Michael Tait. I am working in areas of Spectral Graph Theory and Extremal Graph Theory, and am interested in using linear algebra to study graphs and extremal objects.

In my personal time I like to go on walks, play football (soccer) and board games, read the Bible and engage in armchair politics. I had a few plants but they either did not make it through winter or I did not bring them along when I moved from Delaware.

I am currently on the job market and looking for my next Postdoc. I would love to hear from you if you have any opportunities for me (i.e. work, discuss research, or to present at your department).

Here are some upcoming events where I will be speaking:

  • Rocky Mountain Algebraic Combinatorics Seminar, Colorado State University, dd/mm/2023.
