The 2024 release of DIMS 2.0 introduces a suite of valuable features designed to enhance usability and provide farmers with more actionable insights. Highlights include a mobile-friendly interface, enabling multiple users to input data and quickly assess irrigation priorities. Enhanced forecasting tools also support future irrigation planning, especially for scenarios where multiple pivots share a single well.
This hands-on session will guide participants step by step through the field setup process and provide training on maximizing the benefits of the DIMS system. Attendee should bring a laptop or tablet with email access and a smartphone. By the end of the session, participants will have their farms and fields prepared for the 2025 season.
Note: Delaware Nutrient Management credits may be available upon approval and successful course completion.
Identical programs being held Tuesday morning and Thursday morning and afternoon. You will only receive credit for participating in the program once.
