Listening Session: Taking a Whole System Approach to Use New Funding Opportunities
How can conservation partners best support the agricultural community to take advantage of historic funding to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve water quality? In this listening session for Delmarva Farmers, the Delmarva Land and Litter Collaborative will present examples of water quality improvement initiatives from across the country and get feedback on whether and how these novel approaches might be applied successfully in our region. Our goal is to use this feedback to develop funding proposals based on the expressed needs and concerns of the agricultural community and to guide the efforts of conservation partners towards effective solutions. Free breakfast is provided for participants.
Please RSVP by January 3, 2024 to Karen Adams at adams@udel.edu or 302-831-3328 if you plan to attend so that we can plan accordingly for meals and materials and to accommodate any special needs.
