Interested in climate change? Want to get involved at UD? The Climate Scholars is a UD Scholars and Fellows program open to students in all majors who are interested in understanding climate change and working on solutions to climate change challenges. Details about the program can be found here.
I’m part of the inaugural class of Climate Scholars. My favorite part of the program so far is the Tea & Cookies meetings each week. Here, I get the opportunity to speak to expert UD faculty that have climate change-related work. Plus, the Climate Hub directors provide us with cookies and beverages to enjoy. These meetings also give me a sense of community in the Climate hub—I’ve made a lot of cool friends in my Climate Scholars group.
