The Laboratory for Quantum Materials and Photonics performs experimental and computational studies broadly spanning the areas of quantum optics, nanophotonics, and materials science. We focus on the electronic, optical, and mechanical properties of quantum materials. Our goal is to design and develop quantum optoelectronic and integrated nanophotonic devices mainly with van der Waals heterostructure, and nanomechanical devices with applications in quantum technologies like quantum computing, communication, and metrology.
