Second post in the series, this time from a Mac-book Air.
Upsides
- i7 CPU
- 8GB RAM
- Remote desktop works well
- Keyboard works well
- Screen feels HUGE after using the Surface Pro
- Power cord is super long, I’m something like 8 feet from the outlet and there’s slack in the cable
Undecided
- The trackpad is different than what I”m used to
- I occasionally miss the touch screen, but I think It won’t be a problem
Downsides
- Odd Windows/Command key placement; different from what I’m very used to
- After the bootcamp split, still only 70GB free
- Still can’t get the mobile version of IE to launch…
- no Home or End keys…? ahh … FN-left and FN-right
