In this module, we will highlight some of the challenges that corn growers face related to nitrogen management and introduce a variety of tools that farmers can use to fine-tune in-season nitrogen applications. We will also introduce a new on-farm research study being conducted by researchers at University of Maryland College Park, University of Delaware, and Pennsylvania State University. This USDA-funded research project is designed to increase farmer adoption of in-season nitrogen management tools. There will be an opportunity for farmers to sign up to participate in the research.
