- Penn Predoctoral Fellowships for Excellence Through Diversity

- Chavez/Eastman/Marshall Dissertation Fellowships
Dartmouth College invites applications for the Cesar Chavez/Charles A. Eastman/Thurgood Marshall Dissertation Fellowships from US citizens who plan careers in college or university teaching. The goal of the Chavez/Eastman/Marshall fellowship program is to promote student and faculty diversity at Dartmouth, and throughout higher education, by supporting completion of the doctorate by underrepresented minority scholars (including African-American, Latina/o, and Native American scholars) and other graduate scholars with a demonstrated commitment and ability to advance educational diversity.

- NYU Postdoctoral and Transition Program for Academic Diversity Fellowship
New York University (NYU) is dedicated to ensuring a diverse, scholarly environment and encouraging individuals to enter the academic profession. To that end, NYU has created the NYU Postdoctoral and Transition Program for Academic Diversity Fellowship Program to attract and support promising scholars and educators from different backgrounds, races, ethnic groups, and other diverse groups whose life experience, research experience, and employment background will contribute significantly to academic excellence. Applicants with strengths in the sciences, health professions, law, and social sciences will be particularly welcome.

- Five Colleges Fellowship
Five College Fellowships offer year-long residencies for doctoral students completing dissertations. The program supports scholars from under-represented groups and/or scholars with unique interests and histories whose engagement in the Academy will enrich scholarship and teaching.

- Mellon/ACLS Dissertation Completion Fellowship
Applicants must:
- be Ph.D. candidates in a humanities or social science department in the United States.
- have completed all requirements for the Ph.D. except the dissertation and obtained ABD (all but dissertation) status by the application deadline.
- be no more than six years in the degree program; awardees can hold this Fellowship no later than their seventh year.
- Unsuccessful applicants may reapply to this program only once.

- Josephine de Karman Fellowship
DeKarman fellowships are open to students in any discipline, including international students, who are currently enrolled in a university or college located within the United States. Only candidates for the PhD who will defend their dissertation by June and undergraduates entering their senior year (will receive bachelors degree in June) are eligible for consideration. Postdoctoral and masters degree students are not eligible for consideration. Special consideration will be given to applicants in the Humanities.

- AAUW International Fellowship
International Fellowships are awarded for full-time study or research in the United States to women who are not United States citizens or permanent residents. Both graduate and postgraduate study at accredited institutions are supported. Several fellowships are available for study outside of the U.S.

Selected Professions Fellowships are awarded for the following programs: Architecture (M.Arch, M.S.Arch), Computer/Information Sciences (M.S.) , Engineering (M.E., M.S.), Mathematics/Statistics (M.S.)
Fellowships in the following degree programs are restricted to women of color, who have been underrepresented in these fields: Business Administration (M.B.A.) – applicants may apply for 2nd year of study only, Law (J.D.) – applicants may apply for 3rd year of study only, Medicine (M.D., D.O.) – applicants may apply for 3rd or 4th year of study only

- AAUW American Fellowship
American Fellowships support women doctoral candidates completing dissertations or scholars seeking funds for postdoctoral research leave from accredited institutions. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Candidates are evaluated on the basis of scholarly excellence, the quality and originality of project design, and active commitment to helping women and girls through service in their communities, professions, or fields of research.

- Center for the Study of Diversity Research Grant Program – Call for Proposals
The Center for the Study of Diversity is pleased to announce the 2014-2015 Faculty and Graduate Student Diversity Research Grant Programs. These awards will support diversity-related research, analysis, and public scholarship projects to benefit the university campus and/or the local community. - FASEB/MARC Travel Awards for Scientific Meetings & Conferences
The FASEB MARC Program provides funding for travel awards to support the participation of Faculty/Mentors and Students, and Poster/Platform Presenters at selected scientific meetings and conferences. The awards help to defray meeting registration and travel-related expenses for eligible underrepresented minority undergrad and grad students, post-baccalaureates, postdoctorates, junior faculty and mentors/faculty scientists in the biomedical and behavioral science. Biomedical and behavioral science categories include: biochemistry, bioengineering, biology, cell biology, chemistry, genetics, mathematics, microbiology, neurobiology, physics, physiology and some parts of psychology and sociology.
