Data Services Librarian has joined the Library, Museums and Press

Managing, curating, and analyzing data is a daunting task as research becomes increasingly data intensive, and funders and publishers require more rigorous data access and preservation standards. The Library, Museums and Press recently added Dr. Daniel Peart to their Digital Initiatives and Preservation team in the role of Data Services Librarian. Daniel is available for consultations, classroom visits, and workshops to provide training and guidance for a variety of research data topics. These include data management, data cleaning, basic statistical analysis, data ethics, data visualization, and data storage and preservation, among others. Daniel is also available to guide development of a data management plan for grant applications and publication submissions. Feel free to reach out to Daniel to start a conversation about how he can help you move forward with your research data.
