Bio: Paige graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. and a M.S. in Chemical Engineering. Her master’s research was on creating hydrogel capture surfaces to capture and selectively release rare cells found in whole blood for diagnostic and prognostic applications. She also worked on developing miniaturized biosensors within microfluidic devices using photopolymerizaiton. Paige is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering program at the University of Delaware.
Research Interests: Paige is working on creating a multimodal responsive hydrogel microparticle system for controlled and tailorable delivery of protein therapeutics towards the development of a personalized medicine platform.
Fun Facts: In her spare time Paige loves baking, hiking, doing yoga, and reading.
