This past weekend in Lewisburg, PA, the sprint team competed in the Bucknell Bison Opener! This was the first meet of the indoor season, and they went up against some tough D1 teams. The official results are available here, and more info on the meet here.
Highlights include the performances of Mike Mattamira and Krista Charamella, who both placed 5th in the 300m! Mattamira ran a time of 37.23, and Charamella completed the race in 46.24.
Other standouts include Emma Crouch, who ran 8.23 to finish 12th in the preliminaries of the 60m, and Brittany Georges, who ran 27.59 to finish 15th in the 200m.
Jon Martin also took 15th in the 200m, completing the race in 23.49. Martin ran in the 400m as well, finishing 13th in 52.69. In the 800m, Sean Goodwin ran a time of 2:06.41 to finish 11th. For field events, Brandon Lichtenstein jumped 5.79m to place 14th overall in the long jump.
