What is Spring Into Motion?

Spring Into Motion is an online physical activity challenge that encourages you to get out there and MOVE!

During this 6-week challenge, you (or your team) will travel the world to virtually visit international spring festivals as you accumulate steps/minutes. The goal of the program is to accumulate 30 springer icons (3, 4, or 5 points each) by recording 30+ minutes of exercise a day (or 6000+ steps).

Track steps using a wearble device or manually add them to the program. If you engage in a variety of other activities besides walking/running (i.e., swimming, biking, gardening), exercise minutes (vs. steps) may be a more effective way for you to assess and track your physical activity. There is a step conversion chart available which will allow you to add your other activities to your daily step count.

As a participant of Spring Into Motion, you will also have access to

  • Buds- a friends feature that allows you to encourage and keep one another on track
  • The Buzz- an interactive message board to post your successes, photos, or read tips from the experts
  • Wellness tips (emailed daily or weekly based on your preference)
  • Over 250 healthy recipes The mobile app to make syncing & tracking your steps even easier
  • Additional activities provided through Employee Health and Wellbeing that will qualify you for other prizes
