This week is meant to honor all that you have accomplished at the University over the past year. We hope that you will celebrate yourself, your colleagues, and what it means to be a Blue Hen. All events are free and open to all employees.
Monday, June 10: UDid It Picnic- Trabant Multipurpose Rooms and Dining Area
11-1:30p.m., The annual tradition continues! Join your colleagues on The Green for lunch to celebrate another successful year at UD. There will be food, music, and yard games to kick off this week that is all about YOU!

Tuesday, June 11: Self-Care Day
11a.m.-2p.m., The North Green (near Main St.) *rain or shine
With all of the hard work you have put in this year, this day is meant to help you unwind, connect with colleagues, and participate in activities that will help you feel your best.
Join us on the Green!
- PAWS for People, a local, nonprofit organization, will be on The Green with their certified pet-therapy dogs from 11 a.m.-1p.m. for you to pet and play with.
- Outdoor Yoga classes will be held from 11:30 a.m.- 12p.m. and 12:30 p.m.-1 p.m. Mats will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Register Here
- Free Chair Massage will be offered from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. The certified massage therapists will offer 5 minutes massages. Appointments are strongly encouraged, as this is very popular and often fills up fast! Register Here
- Self-Care Table: Meet with Employee Health & Wellbeing to learn how you can lower stress and increase happiness every day. Mental Wellbeing resources will be provided.
Wednesday, June 12: Cultivating Connections Day
Each week you spend a significant amount of time with your colleagues and building authentic relationships in any team is key. The goal of this day is to cultivate a more caring and supportive atmosphere at work and it doesn’t need to be complicated. Here are some ideas to get you started:
