Emotional wellbeing is important for all individuals. Having good emotional wellbeing allows us to live and work towards being our best self in all areas of life. A few of the many work-related benefits of caring for your emotional wellbeing include reduced stress and risk of burn-out, increased happiness and job satisfaction, improved productivity and concentration, and improved co-working relationships.

UD’s Emotional Wellbeing Resources


UD’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a work-based program designed to assist employees in resolving personal problems that may be adversely affecting the employee’s performance and personal life. 

The service includes a maximum of five (5) sessions at no cost. Should you need to go beyond five (5) sessions on a particular topic, ComPsych will work with your insurance to find in-network providers. Employees should use “State of Delaware” as their work location when logging in to the ComPsych portal for the first time.
