COUCH TO 5K

UD Couch to 5k Program is Returning in Fall 2019!

Join Employee Health and Wellbeing for our returning “Couch to 5k” 9-week training program for beginner runners who would like to participate in either running or walking in the Homecoming Blue Hen 5k in October 2019. The group will run the James F. Hall trail at 5:00pm each week from Wednesday, August 21 through October 16, 2019 at 5:00 pm. Runners may download the “Couch to 5k” app to assist in their running program throughout this time period. The combination of the program itself, the coaching, and the camaraderie of the group was perfect! I felt completely supported and was able to complete the program and a 5K—but the best thing, I’m motivated to keep running!
