Congratulations to Jennifer Mills- DESGC Fellowship winner!

Jennifer Mills has been awarded a Graduate Fellowship supported by the NASA Delaware Space Grant College and Fellowship Program. Jennifer is a third year PhD student in Chemical Engineering who is jointly advised by Professor Paramita Mondal in Civil and Environmental Engineering and Professor Norman Wagner in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. She will leverage her research on structure-property relationships of alkali-activated binders to investigate lunar and Martian regolith-based construction materials for NASA’s in-situ resource utilization program. This work is in preparation for the return of astronauts to the surface of the moon with Project Artemis and future exploration of Mars.
