Vice President for Finance and Deputy Treasurer

Greg Oler

Vice President for Finance and Deputy Treasurer, providing leadership, planning and coordination for the University’s financial operations. He has direct oversight of treasury services, financial analysis and reporting, general accounting, tax planning and reporting, federal cost accounting, procurement and risk management. Before joining the University in 2014, he was at the Johns Hopkins University for more than a decade, serving as Director of General Accounting for six years and as University Controller for five years. Prior to his work in higher education, he spent six years in private industry with a Fortune 500 hospitality company, a venture capital backed start-up, and a national specialty retailer.  He also spent eleven years in public accounting with KPMG.  He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Loyola University.

Associate Vice President for Business Operations

Amy Connell As Associate Vice President, Business Operations, Amy is responsible for the University of Delaware’s Debt portfolio, Cashiering and FLEX Operations, Treasury and Liquidity Management, Bookstore, Housing and Dining auxiliary operations and University Printing.  In addition, the University Finance department’s day to day operations including budget, human resources and IT initiatives all reside under her oversight and leadership.  As a senior member of the University’s financial leadership team, Amy also participates in the development of long range financial planning models and due diligence of strategic corporate partnerships.  Amy joined the University in Facilities Planning & Construction with responsibility for facilities accounting, administration and contract management, before serving as Collection and Account Services Manager for student accounts in Billing and Collection.  In 2002 she joined the Controller’s Office, serving as Assistant Controller until her promotion to Controller in 2008.  Amy was promoted to the role of Associate Vice President, Business Operations in November 2019.  Prior to joining the University, Amy spent four years in public accounting at a regional CPA firm in West Chester, PA.  She is a CPA and has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Delaware.

Director, Risk Management

Ike Jenkins

As Director of Risk Management, Ike provides direction and oversight of the University’s Risk Management program, including all property and casualty insurance and student/athletic health and accident programs. He also coordinates the University's Enterprise Risk Management initiative. Ike holds a BS in Industrial Technology from the College of Engineering at Southern Illinois University and an MBA from Wagner College in Staten Island, NY. Ike also holds the designation of Associate in Risk Management (ARM) from The Institutes.


Lisa Marra Kelly As Controller, Lisa provides leadership to a team charged with direct oversight for general and investment accounting functions, financial business processes and reporting, external audit functions, management of the University’s general ledger, endowment accounting and reporting, debt accounting, state appropriations reporting, auxiliary accounting and tax and compliance.   Lisa joined the University in 2005 and has served in various roles in the Controller’s Office including the Manager of Financial Reporting and as the Assistant Controller.  Prior to joining the University, Lisa worked in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers and at Wilmington Trust Company in their internal audit department.  She is a CPA and earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Delaware.
