Insurance for Contractors/Vendors
All contractors, vendors or service providers providing services to or doing work on University of Delaware’s premises are required to maintain commercial insurance.
Contractors/vendors are required to submit evidence of insurance prior to the commencement of service. The link below describes the minimum insurance standards applying to all contractors/vendors.
If a product or service, upon review of Risk Management, represents an extraordinary risk warranting additional or unique coverage, additional insurance for that exposure may be required.
Contractors are required to verify that all subcontractors maintain insurance meeting the requirements stated within.
University of Delaware reserves the right to modify these requirements based on the nature of the risk, prior experience, insurer, coverage, or any other unique circumstances.
