DOCTORAL STUDENTS
Frank Tricouros
Frank joined the lab in August 2020 after graduating from Hofstra University. He is pursuing a Ph.D. studying vortex dynamics in wall-bounded flows.
David Yudin
David joined the lab in August 2020 after graduating from the University of Delaware. He is pursuing a Ph.D. studying actively flexible bioinspired propulsors.
Parker Grobe
Parker joined the lab in January 2023, an alumn of UD. He is pursuing a Ph.D. studying bioinspired foil shapes and fin-fin interactions.
Tony Liang
An unofficial member of the lab who is a graduate of Drexel U. and Ph.D. candidate at UD. Tony contributes immensely to the NASA turbulence sediment transport project and is a critical member of our group.
UNDERGRADUATE & GRADUATE STUDENTS
Valerie Moore
Pioneered the fluids experiment design for the NASA ISS turbulence project.
Ethan Watson
Creates custom fluid dynamics simulations to study how fish fin morphology changes swimming performance.
TJ Kaifer
Developing a K-12 STEM soft robotics learning kit based on biologically inspired designs.
Julia Komorowski
Experimentally explores how wind interacts with crop fields and how to mitigate crop damage through optimized design.
Isaac Chandler
Mechatronics expert who helps build bioinspired UUVs and space-bound flow experiments.
