Leah Settipane is the VCAT project coordinator and trainer. She is a former All- American student athlete and was a volunteer athlete in the  pilot project at Boston College in the spring of 2016. In the summer of 2016, Susan hired Leah as the project coordinator for the program while she was at BC training and preparing to play overseas. After another successful cohort, Leah went to England to play field hockey and pursue her Masters degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Durham. During her time at the University of Durham, Leah also played for the University’s waterpolo team (BUCS gold) and futsal team (BUCS silver), medaling in each sport.

Leah has a passion for health and wellness and helping others. While involved in the initial project she saw the major sacrifices that veterans and their families make for our country and the need for a healthy welcoming community for veterans after deployment. Leah is also a Division 1 field hockey coach at the University of Delaware, ACE certified personal trainer, and group fitness instructor.
