Alternative Break Service Leaders 2022
Riya is a junior Exercise Science major with a minor Spanish for Healthcare. In freshman year she began her journey with BHLP with QUEST and before her second semester in January of 2020 she went on the Puerto Rico Alternative Break. Since then she completed Tier1, Tier 2, and is a current member of Tier 3. Her experience with BHLP and Alternative Breaks has been amazing and she is excited to take on the new position of service leader on the upcoming Spring Alternative Break. She cannot wait to meet all her fellow BHLPers that will be joining her on the service program!

John is currently a junior Management Information Systems major at UD. During his freshman year, he participated in QUEST as well as the Winter Alternative Break Program at Puerto Rico. Being a participant during the program allowed John to realize several things for both himself and opened his eyes to the world around him. Learning how he worked in both an individual and group reflection helped form his leadership style. As a Service Leader, he hopes to replicate this experience with his peers and hopes that everyone is able to learn something about themselves and their communities on this program.
